Purchasing & Supplier Collaboration
Purchasing that runs from the plan, not from spreadsheets.
Most retailers plan in one system and buy in another. Replenishment plans become purchase orders by hand, approvals run over email, and suppliers confirm in spreadsheets. Every hand-off adds delay and hides what is actually on the way.
Dataviva Inbound Planning turns the plan into purchase orders sized from the demand forecast, within your supplier terms, and timed and sized for your own capacity and logistics. It routes them through multi-step approval, sends them to suppliers and tracks every confirmation and shipment. When goods arrive late or short, allocation and replenishment re-plan against what actually landed.
It works out of the box for direct-buy and traded goods, on top of your existing ERP. See how it works in Fashion, Grocery and Specialty retail.

Applications
Purchase Order Planning
Replenishment plans become purchase order recommendations, sized from the demand forecast and current stock. They respect vendor agreements: volume price tiers, order minimums, order multiples and negotiated terms. Delivery plans are built around order and truck constraints. Buyers review exceptions instead of building orders line by line.
Prepack Buying
For fashion and other size-run product, orders are placed in the pack configurations you will allocate. Dataviva can optimize the prepacks requested from suppliers using each store's size curve and the supplier's pack rules, so what you buy matches what stores need.
Sourcing Rules
Set which supplier or distribution center serves each item and location, by week or on individual dates. The rules apply automatically every time an order is raised, so buying decisions stay consistent across the network. Change a rule once and every future order follows it.
Approval Workflows
Purchase orders move through multi-step approval by every stakeholder who needs to sign off, with the rules and thresholds you set. Orders inside the rules go straight through. Each step is recorded, so governance and auditability come built in.
Supplier Collaboration
Orders go to suppliers straight from Dataviva. Suppliers confirm quantities and dates and flag changes in one shared view. Buyers stop chasing confirmations by email and phone.
Supplier Auctions
Where an item has more than one possible source, Dataviva can run a supplier auction on price or delivery terms. It selects the best offer on total supply chain cost, not on unit price alone.
Works With Your ERP
Purchase orders can be issued from Dataviva or passed to your ERP. Dataviva then manages PO number changes and SKU number transitions as orders are issued. Real-time bridges keep your ERP and planning in sync.
